Yamaha YZF-R1 99 model Custom paint job, looks even better in the flesh - changes from green/blue thru purple depending on angle. Looks incredible in sunlight.Arrow slip-on exhaust.Performs like a dream, and in good mechanical condition. Redbook value is $6,200-$7,300, and I ve priced it accordingly for its condition and to encourage a quicker sale.It also has the option of either double or single-seat configuration, by swapping out the single-seat cowl for the pillion seat or vice versa - takes all of 2 seconds to do the swap. If you change the exhaust bracket over, and remove the pillion pegs, it s pretty easy to make it permanent single-seat (and easy to swap back if you want). I never got around to it myself, but was thinking about it. I have both parts included, so it s up to you which configuration you prefer.Tyres are worn and will need replacing for rego (rear, at least). Owner before last dropped it, resulting in minor lower fairing damage (scratches) on both sides. LHS clutch cover is also scratched. The scratches are very obvious up-close, but of all the times people have come up to me to comment on how great the bike looks (and it happens a lot), not once has anyone seemed to notice them - they re always surprised when I ve pointed it out to them). Only other issue is a crack through one of the spars joining the sub-frame assembly to the chassis on the LHS, which appears to be on the site of a previous weld repair.
